Study in Europe from Pakistan: step by step

PAL's head office is in Islamabad and our European office is in Bratislava. This is the plan we follow with our students.

  1. Choose a country and course (10–12 months before). Compare costs with the cost calculator and your chances with Check your chances.
  2. Check the entry requirements. Grades, English level and any entrance exam. Our eligibility check helps.
  3. Prepare your documents (9 months before). Passport, transcripts, certificates and English test. Some countries need your documents attested or apostilled, which takes time. Use the document checklist.
  4. Apply (about 8 months before). Scholarship deadlines often come first. PAL applies for you and follows up with the university.
  5. Accept your offer and pay the deposit. Your offer letter gives the deadline.
  6. Apply for your visa (3–4 months before). Book the embassy appointment early. You need your acceptance letter, proof of money, accommodation and insurance. See how much money you need to show.
  7. Book flights and accommodation. Send PAL your arrival details. In Slovakia, PAL Fleet can pick you up at the airport.
  8. Arrive and register. University, local authorities and residence permit. See your first weeks.
