Privacy notice

What PAL Education does with the details you give us, in plain words.

This notice covers the PAL Education website, its forms, My PAL, and the work our counsellors do with your application. Last updated: October 2026.

Who is responsible

PAL Educational Consultancy (SSM 002578994-V (Malaysia); FBR 8911137-3 (Pakistan)), Sector I-16/4, Islamabad, Pakistan. This website is published on www.paleducation.eu by PAL International Services s.r.o., Landererova 7743/8, 811 09 Bratislava, Slovakia. In this notice “PAL” and “we” mean these companies.

For any question about your details, write to admissions@paleducation.eu or call +421 908 315 883.

What we collect

  • When you ask a question or check your eligibility: your name, email address or phone number, the country, university and course you are interested in, your grades and English test if you tell us, and your message.
  • When you apply: your name, contact details, date of birth, gender, nationality, country of residence, passport number, a parent or guardian’s name if you give one, your education history, your English test, what and where you want to study, and how you plan to pay for it.
  • Documents you send us or upload: for example your passport copy, photo, transcripts, certificates, CV and letters.
  • What happens with your application: its stage, the next step, messages to you, and notes our counsellors make while working on it.
  • Technical details: the page you sent a form from, and your internet address for a short time, so that we can stop misuse of the forms.

Why we use it

  • To answer you and advise you on study options.
  • To prepare your application and send it to the universities and colleges you choose.
  • To help with your visa, arrival and accommodation if you ask us to.
  • To tell you how your application is going.
  • To keep records we are required to keep by law.

We do this because you asked us to (you send a form, or you tick the box when you apply), and because we need your details to take the steps you request before and during our service. You can take back your agreement at any time; see “Your choices” below.

Who sees your details

  • PAL counsellors and staff who work on your case.
  • The universities, colleges and pathway providers you apply to, and their admissions offices.
  • Visa and immigration authorities, when you ask us to help with a visa application.
  • A partner agent or representative, if one introduced you to PAL or helps with your application.
  • Companies that run our systems for us: Cloudflare (website, database, file storage and email delivery), and our email and messaging providers.

We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Sending details to other countries

Studying abroad means your details travel. When you apply to a university in another country, we send your application there, and that country’s rules may protect personal data differently from the rules where you live. Our systems run on Cloudflare’s international network. We only send what is needed for your application.

How long we keep it

  • Questions that do not become an application: up to twelve months after our last contact with you.
  • Applications and their documents: while your application is active and for up to three years after it is completed or closed, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.

You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, stop using them, or send them to you in a common file format. You can also take back the agreement you gave when you applied. Write to admissions@paleducation.eu and we will answer within one month. If you take back your agreement or ask us to delete your details, we may no longer be able to continue your application.

If you think we handled your details wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. In Slovakia this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov).

If you are under 18

Please ask a parent or guardian to read this notice and agree before you send us an application.

Cookies and your browser

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To save you typing, your browser keeps an unfinished application and your last reference number until you close the tab. They stay on your device. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts and some photos from Unsplash, so those services see your internet address when a page loads. Links to WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram take you to those companies’ own services.

Keeping it safe

The website and My PAL use an encrypted connection. Applications and uploaded documents can only be opened by PAL staff who are signed in. In My PAL you see the names of the files you uploaded, not the files themselves, so nobody who learns your reference number can read your documents.

Changes

If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
